FAQ

Questions, answered

Still unsure about something? Ask ApexAI at the bottom right of the page.

Can I run on Saturday, Sunday, or both?
All three distances run on both mornings with identical start times. Choose the Saturday Pass at US$49 or the Sunday Pass at US$59, or take the Weekend Pass at US$79 and run both days — a saving of US$29. Weekend Pass holders may pick a different distance on each day and receive a finisher medal on both.
Do I need to be a runner to take part?
No. The 3 km Discovery Walk is designed for an active morning at your own pace, and the 5 km Run suits beginners, recreational runners and corporate teams. The 10 km Performance Run is there when you want a greater challenge.
Is festival access included in my registration?
Yes. The morning is the race and the afternoon is the festival, on one registration, on each day you run. From 12:30 PM your bib admits you to Pavilion 02, Biohacking & Human Performance — recovery lounges, testing zones, neurotech and breathwork, live shows, the shop floor and the healthy food village.
When do I collect my bib and T-shirt?
Registration opens at 8:00 AM on race morning. Arrive at least 60 minutes before your start time so you have space to collect your bib and shirt, warm up and reach the start line.
Which distances are timed?
Professional race timing applies to the 5 km Run and the 10 km Performance Run. Podium places for 1st, 2nd and 3rd are awarded on official times for both distances. The 3 km Discovery Walk is untimed.
Can I register on the day?
No. Registration and full payment close 7 days before the event, and there is no on-site registration or payment. Places are limited on each race day, so register early to secure your day and distance.
What should I wear?
Suitable sportswear and running shoes are required. Your official event T-shirt is included in the registration and matches your bib colour: green for 3 km, blue for 5 km, yellow for 10 km.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The event takes place rain or shine. The organiser will only change the schedule, course or start times if participant safety or operations require it.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. All distances are open to participants aged 18 and over. All participants take part at their own risk.
Do I get a certificate?
Every finisher receives an official finisher medal on the day and a digital finisher certificate after the event. Weekend Pass holders receive a medal on both days.
Can I change my distance after registering?
Yes, up to the registration close 7 days before the event, subject to places being available in the distance you want. Write to the organising team with your bib details. Weekend Pass holders may run a different distance on Saturday and Sunday without any change request.
Can I transfer my place to someone else?
Transfers are possible up to 7 days before the event while registration is open. The new participant must meet the 18+ minimum age and accept the same conditions. After registration closes, places cannot be transferred or refunded.
Is there a refund if I cannot take part?
Registration fees are non-refundable once registration closes 7 days before the event. Before that point, contact the organising team and we will look at a transfer to another participant or a change of race day where places allow.
Where do I leave my bag?
A supervised bag drop operates in the start and finish area from 8:00 AM. Please travel light and keep valuables with you — items are left at your own risk.
Can I bring a stroller, a dog or headphones?
Strollers are welcome on the 3 km Discovery Walk only, starting at the back of the field. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Headphones are allowed on all distances, but please keep the volume low enough to hear marshals and other participants.
How do I get my result?
Chip times for the 5 km and 10 km are published after each race day and included in your digital finisher certificate. The 3 km Discovery Walk is untimed and does not appear in the results.
Can I take part with a team or company?
Yes. The 5 km Run is the usual choice for corporate teams. Everyone registers individually and shares the same blue bib and shirt colour, so your group is easy to find on the start line. For group registrations of ten or more, contact the organising team before booking.
